Fragment & Figure explores small-scale sculptural objects that move between body, landscape and abstract fragment. Openings, cavities, paired forms and rough metallic or earthen surfaces suggest figures without becoming literal representation. These objects are intended to be displayed on shelves, consoles and tables as intimate works of sculpture, giving the accessory scale the conceptual weight usually associated with larger art objects.
