Botanical Vessels considers the vase as an active partner to stems, branches and flowers rather than a neutral container. Rounded bodies, carved apertures, patterned surfaces and unusual proportions frame botanical material and create a second silhouette around it. Some pieces are expressive enough to function without flowers; others are designed to become complete only when combined with natural elements.
